Get help with installation →- Install the published Windows release. Follow its installer instructions, including any required audio component.
- Select your physical microphone in AN42. Preview your audio and adjust your input level.
- Select the AN42 virtual microphone in your game or chat app. If it is missing, check the installation instructions for your release.
- Test before you start. Use the receiving app's microphone test to confirm that it hears the processed audio.

Will it work with my Steam games?
Compatibility depends on each game's microphone support and the installed AN42 audio components. Where supported, choose the AN42 virtual microphone in the game's voice settings or the voice app you use alongside it. Check the release notes for tested games; this page does not promise compatibility with every Steam title.
Why don't I see the virtual microphone?
Check that your release's virtual microphone component was installed successfully. Follow the instructions included with the installer. If Windows reports an installation error, send the exact message to Support.
Where do I get updates and license help?
Published updates are listed above. For activation or license questions, use the website's Support page and include the version you installed.
